how to never do laundry again

Cardigan: Ralph Lauren, Sweater: Target, Scarf: Thrifted, Jeans: Walmart, Belt: Nordstrom Rack, Earrings: Field Museum

Okay, so that title might be a bit sensationalist, but I had to catch your attention somehow. :) I am not completely in love with my outfit today but it's been a long while since laundry's been done therefore my options were limited.

How do you guys decide when it's time to do laundry? When we had a machine in the house we would do it whenever we needed to wear an article of clothing that was dirty, but now that we have to journey to the laundromat, we are lazier. But also more resourceful in what we are willing to wear. Laundry day is now determined by the emptiness of the underwear drawer, because that's one of those things that you just don't mess with.

But back to whether or not my duds are a dud today. I finally settled on what shoes I wanted to wear and went from there. In case you couldn't guess from the pictures, this shoot revolved aroung them.

These were one of the pairs that I found thrifting on Saturday! By now you might be thinking when will she stop talking about that trip? The answer is when I wear the last piece I found. (And I hit the jackpot, so buckle up.)

Something I am liking is full-fledged fall I am finally seeing, mid-October. Fall means layers, shoes (not sandals which make my feet dry), pants (i.e. less shaving of legs), scarfs, colors, rain and still not quite winter-cold-weather. I like fall. What about you, do you enjoy the fall?
