Yesterday there was a big blizzard that caused me to drive around for twenty minutes with my face glued to the windshield while I looked for parking.
My hair appointment was at 1:00 and my make up was at 3:00.
It started snowing at 9:30.
We were supposed to take our photos at 5:45
And it stopped snowing around 4:00.
I know that seems like a lot of dramatic buildup over weather changes but it was a big deal and it was miraculous that we were able to take our pictures today. It was so touch and go all day, but we really wanted to take them today and so we decided to just go forward with it and watch the weather with Heather, our photographer. It was really a miracle though, and not just a happy surprise. We were praying and then I just went forward with faith and got my hair done. More snow. Lucky umbrella. Makeup time. Clearer weather. Big sigh of relief.
These are a couple of shots of the bouquet and boutonierre we used. (Thanks to blogs by people who know what they are doing when it comes to flowers.)
um. that picture is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I really love it.
ReplyDeleteThis picture is beautiful! Glad it all worked out.
ReplyDeleteThanks! :) I actually follow a blog that Sharon Beesley guest starred in and found you through a random chain. My fiance, Nick, is from Issaquah, Washington so I have finally gotten to visit there. Not Forks yet though. :)
