O Autumn, laden with fruit, and stain'd With the blood of the grape, pass not
All I've been pinning lately is art and soup. Here's some of the art. :)
I like that most of the colors are muted with the occasional bam! of lemon, mustard, coral or poppy.

greensleeves . . . or pants
I really am loving green right now. I know that it may seem like it's a more appropriate color for spring or summer but I love it now! Give me bright green, deep green and olive green for fall. Bring me your pants, your skirts and your accessories. I'll take 'em, wear 'em, and love 'em.

It's been a long, but pretty awesome day. I am the happiest little Alison in the world right now.
I'll tell you more about it tomorrow. ;)
For now though, today is the first day of the last month of this year. Here are some lovely words to explain the beauty of autumn that is fast fading.
Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.
~George Eliot
Besides the autumn poets sing,
A few prosaic days
A little this side of the snow
And that side of the haze.
~Emily Dickinson

And that side of the haze.

Oh, and P.S., the skirt is pleather, from a thrift store for $ 4-6 (bad memory). I almost didn't get it but my friend convinced me otherwise. Thanks Amy, cause I looooove it!
