feels more like schlump day

Have you ever had one of those weeks where it's midway through and you already feel like it's not going to be a very productive one? It's only Wednesday but the past two days have been filled with not having anywhere to park for six hours of each morning (darn you, Cambridge street cleaning!) and the errands and laundry and house cleaning that have been neglected during our weekend day trips to other states. Since this weekend will be the same I knew I needed to do something about it before we ran out of plates and underwear. (Don't act like you haven't been there before. :)

And right now, instead of getting back on schedule and doing all the picture taking, designing, website building, photo editing, planning, writing and cooking that I wanted to do this week, I want to give up and take a nap and the day just barely started. But I won't. Partially because Nick can't since he's being the hardworking bacon winner of the family and it's not as much fun without him snuggled next to me. The other part is because I'm a big girl and big girls don't get naps. So here's to sticktoitiveness. (A made up word that means keep on keepin' on and at least something will actually get done rather than only having spectacular bedhead to show for a days work. )
